Beginning in the 1930s, improved roads and less expensive cars helped make "Vacationland" an appealing tourist destination. Postcards like this one, printed by the Tichnor Brothers of Boston, allowed visitors to document and savor their travels.
The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1930-1945.
